I picked this book up from the library. Honestly, one of the reasons I was drawn to it was that it is only about 5 inches tall and I thought it was cute. But this one ended up being a great choice.
This book promises to offer solutions and answers to all of your sewing problems and questions, and it definitely delivers. It's incredibly well-organized and well-written. It's great to flip through and learn some new things or to reference when you have a specific concern.
The Sewing Answer Book not only deals with sewing-related issues, but also fabric- and machine-related issues. I learned a ton about choosing and sewing knit from this book. I also learned how to improve some of the techniques I already know, like sewing facing and zipper insertion.
Even though I have to return it to the library, I'm probably going to buy a copy for myself.
